Reservations
In order to confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total is requested. The balance is payable upon arrival.

We accept direct deposit, cash or Traveler's Cheques.

Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is made within 30 days prior to expected arrival date, a full refund less $20.00 handling fee is applied. If a cancellation is made within 15 days prior to arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded less $20.00 handling fee. Anytime thereafter, the full deposit is applied.

Check-In Time
Between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.; luggage may be stored for early arrivals.

Check-Out Time
11 a.m.; luggage may be stored for late departures.

Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions. It includes information on what is included in your tour price, what the costs will be if you cancel your trip or transfer to another date, etc.

INCLUDED IN COST
Prices quoted include the following: accommodations, meals, guide fees, entrance fees, workshops, therapies, hotel taxes and GST.  All day tours include lunch, professional English-speaking personnel and guides, as well as transfers.

NOT INCLUDED IN COST
Not included in cost are gratuities to drivers, guides, boat crew, hotel personnel, laundry, gift purchases, personal items and entertainment not mentioned in the itinerary.

PER PERSON TOURS
A deposit of $75.00usd is required to confirm your space on a tour booked beyond 5 days of the initial date of booking. Full payment of your tour is due no later than 30 days prior to scheduled tour departure. Payment of a deposit implies acceptance of reservation and cancellation policies listed herein. Once a deposit is received, any cancellations or transfers to another departure date are subject to fees listed below.

GROUP TOURS (6-8 persons plus one group leader)
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the tour for the group is required 30 days prior to the tour to confirm space at the time of booking. Payment of the initial deposit implies acceptance of reservation and cancellation policies listed herein. Once the deposit is received, any cancellations or transfers to another date are subject to fees listed below. For tours booked 30 days or less prior to arrival, the full balance is due at the time of booking.

PAYMENTS
You can make your payment by Direct Deposit (US account), Bank Cashiers Check or Draft to US account, Postal Money Order or cash only.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

PER PERSON TOURS
All cancellations must be in writing.

Expenses or penalties apply and include, but are not limited to, the following: telephone, internet and fax charges made to confirm your reservation, costs incurred to cancel reservations, ground operators or other suppliers.

On cancellations received more than 25 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be given, less any of the above-mentioned expenses and/or penalties.

On cancellation received less than 25 days but more than 15 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be given, less a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the tour, plus any of the above-mentioned expenses and/or penalties.

On cancellations received 15 days or less prior to scheduled tour departure, no refund will be given.

Additionally, there can be absolutely no refund of any unused hotel accommodations, meals or services in the case of "no shows" or of cancellations by a participant once a tour has commenced.

GROUP TOURS
All cancellations must be in writing.

On cancellations received more than 45 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be made, less a cancellation fee of $100usd, plus any of the above-mentioned expenses and/or penalties.

On cancellations received less than 45 days but more than 30 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be given, less a cancellation fee of $300usd,  plus any of the above-mentioned expenses and/or penalties.

On cancellations received less than 30 days but more than 15 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be given, less a fee of 75% of the tour cost, plus any of the above-mentioned expenses or penalties.

No refund will be given for cancellations received less than 15 day prior to scheduled tour departure.

Additionally, there can be absolutely no refund of any unused hotel accommodations, meals or services in the case of "no shows" or of cancellations by a participant once a tour has commenced.

No exceptions are made to our cancellation policy for any reason. Notwithstanding the above and without setting precedent, The Piazza reserves the right to make any refunds it sees fit in the interest of compassion and fairness.

 

TRANSFERS
If you need to transfer or change your tour to another date, in addition to the tour cost, the transfer fee is $50.00usd.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM
Before you join a tour, you must sign a Waiver of Liability which is sent after your deposit received. If you have any questions regarding this document or would like to see it ahead of time, please request it from our representative.

TRIP CANCELLATION AND ITINERARY CHANGES
We reserve to the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. If tour cancellation is necessary, all of your money will be refunded, but our financial liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid to The Piazza and shall not be extended to cover any other costs incurred by the tour participant. We reserve the right to make changes in the itinerary if necessary due to weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. No refund is given if this occurs.

FORCE MAJEURE
We assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by acts of God, dangers, incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, pilferage, epidemics, medical or customs regulations, from any causes beyond The Piazza’s control or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents. The Piazza cannot accept responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedules or other causes. The Piazza reserves the right to decline any person who actually would not be able to attend the trip due to age limits, health or general deportment if it is deemed probable the person may impede the operation of the services to the detriment of other passengers. The Piazza reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any itinerary, as deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour, either before departure or en route. Baggage is carried at passengers own risk. The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions.
